How to Find Your iPhone Model in 10 Seconds

Gingham Sage iPhone case

Every KASEO case is made for one exact iPhone model, with cutouts mapped to its buttons, speakers and camera. Pick the wrong one and it simply won't fit. The good news: checking takes about ten seconds.

The quickest way: your Settings app

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General, then About.
  3. Look at Model Name. That's the one to pick, for example iPhone 17 Pro.

Can't open Settings?

If your phone is off or broken, check the original box: the model name is printed on it. You can also sign in at appleid.apple.com, where your devices are listed under Devices.

The mix-ups we see most

  • Pro vs Pro Max: they look alike, but the Pro Max is bigger and its camera sits differently.
  • iPhone 17 vs iPhone 17 Air: the Air is much thinner, so it needs its own case.
  • Plus vs standard: the Plus is the larger screen of the same generation.
  • The "e" models (16e, 17e) have their own shape and camera layout.
